COMMUNICATION - Get your questions answered at our web site or send us an e-mail at womensfallfest@westernlehigh.org. E-mail is preferred and is almost always answered by the next day. This is a USYSA/EPYSA sanctioned event for girl's club teams with up to 3 guest players
LOCATION -
LEVEL OF PLAY - Last year we hosted 136 teams with "A" and "B" divisions for most ages. In addition to our 5 Western Lehigh teams, we hosted 16 teams from 3 states. Although we do not offer "premier" divisions, teams that have not been accepted into premier tournaments have been pleased with the competition in our "A" divisions ... jump to past attendees
COLLEGE COACHES -
SPECIAL REQUESTS - We like to attract a wide variety of teams. If possible, we will accommodate special scheduling situations like proms, SAT’s or league games that cannot be re-scheduled. In order to offer this flexibility, we need you to make your request at the time you submit your application. Special requests for late morning starts cannot be honored due to the high number of teams commuting to the tournament. Game times are stagger started beginning at 8:00 AM.
U-19 TEAMS - SAT's are Saturday morning, October 08. We assume all U-19 teams need to start late Saturday and we plan to have 3 lighted fields for Saturday evening only. Under the special requests section of your application, please specify the earliest Saturday game time you can make: 2:00, 3:00, 4:15 or 5:15.
DEADLINE - Saturday, September 3 - We plan to e-mail acceptances by Friday, September . Applications postmarked after the deadline will be accepted, subject to a $25 late fee, until open divisions are full ... jump to calendar for more schedule details.
AWARDS - Trophies are awarded to individual members of 1st and 2nd place teams. In divisions with 6 or more teams, medals are awarded to individual members of the 3rd place team. Patch trading is expected.
GAMES - In 11 v 11 divisions, a 3 referee system is scheduled and games comprise two 30 minute halves. In 8 v 8 games, a single center referee is used and the halves are 25 minutes.
ACCOMMODATIONS - We are working with several hotels to arrange for rooms ... jump to accommodations
REGISTRATION - Registration has been on Saturday morning in the past, but we are looking to change it to Friday evening. More information will be avaiable in the next couple of months ... jump to registration process
Each year we invite college coaches and we again plan to prepare a Player Profile Book for each college coach ... jump to college corner Just west of Allentown, PA. All sites are within a few miles of PA Turnpike exit 56 (formerly # 33). Teams play all 4 games at the same site, 2 games Saturday and 2 Sunday, except for special requests ... jump to maps and directions ... jump to rules |
