FALL REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOOLS ANNOUNCED
Red Bull New York are pleased to announce five Fall Regional Development Schools, featuring two brand new partnerships in Emmaus, PA and Suffern, NY. Established Development Schools return to Toms River, Manalapan, and Lawrenceville, NJ. ( watch the video now »)
"New York Red Bulls are delighted to be extending our pre-academy program into organizations in Suffern and Emmaus, and we hope that our training programs continue to discover new talent in these areas", said Director of Player and Youth Development Giovanni Savarese. "These new locations provide even better facilities than before, and promise to take our program to new heights."
Each location offers players aged 8- 14 an opportunity to receive supplementary advanced training from New York Red Bull professional trainers. Intended solely for competitive and elite travel players, the curriculum is specially designed to target technical and functional aspects of the game. The strict coaching ratio of 1:12 allows players to receive excellent individual attention and coach interaction, leading to a comprehensive electronic evaluation at the end of the program.
As the RDS continues to attract some of the most dedicated and talented soccer players around, registration on each of the five schools is now subject to try-out. Each location will hold an open try-out the week prior to the start date, with the top 48 players earning an invitation to our flagship program. This ensures a high level of player at all locations, and serves to raise the intensity and quality of each training session.
An exciting feature of the program is that the highest level players from within the Development Schools will be selected to represent the New York Red Bulls Regional Developmental school in showcase tournaments across the area. Those who truly excel will earn the opportunity to try out for the Academy Team, and begin their journey towards a career as a professional player.
